Petra CNAs, was founded in 1992 in Springdale, Arkansas as a school training nursing assistants licensed by the Arkansas State Board of Private Career Education. The nursing assistant class was approved by the Arkansas Office of Long Term Care. In 1994 a Satellite school was opened in Hot Springs. The school was incorporated in 1996 as Petra Allied Health, Inc. Other programs began to be offered in 1998, and in 1999 a second satellite school in Fort Smith, Arkansas was opened. As of 2006, Petra has graduated over 15 thousand students and is Arkansas’ leader in allied health education. Petra continues to be committed to offering quality educational programs that are long enough for students to gain an entry level position, but short enough to remain affordable.

The mission of Job Corps is to provide at promised young adults the opportunity to be responsible and productive members of today's workforce through a rigorous educational and training program. The Tulsa Job Corps Center has the capacity to house 250 residential students and 50 nonresidential students. The Center is positioned within a residential community that includes shopping centers, restaurants, stores, churches, industrial businesses, financial institutions and public schools.
