In 1996, a group of industry, community leaders, human resource managers and plant managers shared a common concern about the lack of relevant training available for the workforce in Northwest Arkansas. Together they created Northwest Arkansas Industries for Education {dba Business and Industry Training/BIT), a not-for-profit consortium of area businesses and industries that shared resources and created customized, skill-based training to suit a wide range of needs.

BIT is awarding Training Scholarships to Springdale residents!

Award Groups:

  • Springdale HS Student

  • Manufacturing Employee

  • Unemployed Individual

  • Second Chance

  • Mobility Limitations and Special Needs

  • Flexible Schedule! You choose your training days and hours

  • 6 hours per week

  • Must be a Springdale resident
